Why do we need volunteers?

Volunteering with Georgians for a Healthy Future provides an opportunity to raise your voice, connect with like-minded people, and make a difference on the health issues that matter most to you.

Georgians for a Healthy Future volunteers engage on three levels: as supporters, advocates, and ambassadors.

  • Supporters are our digital champions. By liking, sharing, and commenting, you can help ensure the voice of health care consumers is heard on social media.
  • Advocates volunteer at our events and participate in our issue campaigns and lobby days.
  • Ambassadors go above and beyond, working closely with our staff and board to increase awareness and support within their communities and at the Capitol.

Whatever your level of commitment, we look forward to getting to know you as part of our team. If you have a specific skill or would like to donate your time in other ways that support Georgians for a Healthy Future, please let us know! We are open to customizing a volunteer experience that works for you and helps advance our cause.

Volunteer. Make a difference.

Health Advocates Day at the Capitol

Georgians for a Healthy Future’s supporters, partners, and advocates visited the State Capitol to talk about the health care policy issues they care most about during the 2015 legislative session.

We love our volunteers!
