Health Care Quality

Health Care Quality icon

Health care quality is commonly defined as the right care at the right time in the right setting. While Georgia boasts many providers and health systems that provide superb care, many of the quality and outcome indicators for our state illustrate the need for overall improvement. In addition, forces such as consolidation (both on the hospital and health system side and on the part of insurers) and new models of care delivery mean that consumer advocacy is particularly timely and important. Georgians for a Healthy Future monitors policy changes that can impact quality of care for consumers and weighs in on behalf of consumers.
